Work and location records

Work records contain the name and job you enter, clock timestamps, tasks, notes and optional GPS coordinates. The browser edition stores these in this browser. These versions do not upload your shift or GPS history to Farm Time Card or an employer dashboard. Export your own backups; browser data or app files can be lost or deleted. Your device backup settings may also include app files.

Location permission is requested when you enable GPS. Stop recording whenever you choose. This browser app pauses location when hidden or locked. Phone permissions, signal, battery and operating-system restrictions can interrupt recording. Force-quitting ends recording. Gaps are not filled in.

Clock time uses the device clock and your actions. A task name is your entry, not independently verified activity. Stationary work can count as working time even without movement. This supplementary personal record is not certified attendance and does not replace an employer's required records.

If you use voice entry or keyboard dictation, your browser or phone speech provider may process audio under its own settings and permissions. Review the voice consent shown by the tool before using a microphone.

Reports and backups

Optional job photos and videos are copied into device/browser storage and linked to the selected shift. They are not uploaded automatically. Originals may retain embedded location and capture metadata. Review attachments before sharing. Added timestamps record attachment time, not independently verified capture time. Ordinary JSON shift backups exclude media: export media separately before clearing storage, uninstalling, or changing phones. Removing an attachment deletes the app copy, not the original phone-library file.

Text sharing opens Messages or the system share menu. You choose the recipient and press Send. Text-only drafts contain the time card summary. File sharing depends on phone, app and carrier support and size limits; Farm Time Card cannot confirm delivery. A shared package may contain GPS coordinates and the selected original photos/videos.

Exported reports and backups may contain precise locations and personal details. You choose who receives them. The browser opens email drafts for you to attach and send. Compatible browsers can use the phone’s system share sheet for prepared files. Nothing is sent automatically. Anyone with access to your unlocked device or backup may be able to read your records.

Corrections are labelled as your review notes. They do not silently replace original clock events. Export your own backup before changing devices, uninstalling, or clearing browser data. There is no cloud account that can restore your work history.

Free access

Farm Time Card is free. No account or payment is needed. Shift history, photos, videos and GPS routes stay in this browser until you export or choose to share them. No employer dashboard or automatic home-computer sync is included.
